Developmental Medicine / Psychiatry APRN Student Clinical Rotation

In affiliation with Northern Kentucky University’s Master’s of Science Adult Practitioner Registered Nurse (APRN) Program, the Lee Specialty Clinic offers the APRN student a clinical immersion (block) rotation in both Developmental Psychiatric Mental Health and Developmental Primary Care Family Medicine.

The rotations are designed to provide the APRN student with hands-on experience in the provision of either primary care family medicine or psychiatric mental health services to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The PA student will learn to function as an important member of the interdisciplinary team, working alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, and board-certified behavior analysts.

The rotation includes a mixture of clinical, written, and on-line curricula.
